I was delighted with the spacious rooms, although having only three single beds was a bit of a letdown. Waiting with no timeframe for a call wasn't ideal, but the size of the rooms surpassed my expectations for a Japanese standard.

The hotel is situated at the end of the Shiga Kogen valley, offering a very quiet and uncrowded atmosphere. The rooms are terrific, spacious, and accommodating with 4 beds, which is more than enough for a comfortable stay. However, the service was chaotic and somewhat amateurish, lacking a smooth resolution process for unexpected issues. The location is really nice, providing a secluded and quiet setting away from the hustle and bustle. The dining experience offers a standard buffet with helpful staff but could use a bit more variety. The facilities are sufficient for a relaxing stay.

The suite had 2 double beds and two foldout sofas, a massive shower, a bath, and a separate toilet - simply terrific and sufficient for a comfortable stay.
